Smarter HoReCa

Bar and café staff app: your bar under control, even when you are away

In a café, a shortage at the bar usually shows up at the end of the month, when it is too late. Smarter HoReCa makes it visible straight away: at every bar handover, from the bar ledger and from your POS export, with the quantity and the amount.

How Smarter HoReCa helps

  • Blind bar handover

The outgoing and the incoming bartender count the same items, each on their own phone, without seeing the other's numbers. If a difference remains after a recount, the manager gets an alert with the amount.

  • Bar and kitchen ledger from a photo

Take a photo of the handwritten ledger, AI reads the table, you check the rows, and the app calculates consumption and differences in money.

  • Stock from your POS export

Import a CSV or Excel export from any POS, AI recognises the columns and the app warns you before you run out. Your POS and fiscal system stay as they are.

  • Checklists for every position

Each worker sees the tasks of their shift on their phone in order: opening, during the shift, closing. One tap per task, with at least 3 minutes between two ticks, so nobody ticks everything at the end.

  • AI photo check at a random moment

Three times per shift the app asks for a photo of one task, at a moment nobody knows in advance. AI checks that the photo matches the task and rejects blurry, old and reused pictures.

  • Fair tip sharing

The manager enters the day's tips and picks a split rule, hours come from the shifts, and every worker sees their share and confirms it or raises an objection.

  • Nightly report for the owner

After 23:30 you get a short summary of the day in the app and by email: money at risk, differences, unfinished shifts. If everything is fine, the message is short.

Frequently asked questions

How does a blind handover prevent theft?

Both bartenders count the same items, each on their own phone, without seeing the other's numbers. “Just write what I wrote” no longer works, and a remaining difference goes to the manager with the amount.

How much does it cost for a café?

Caffé Starter is €49 a month (early-bird price for the first 50 venues per country) plus a one-off €99 setup, for up to 10 staff: bar, floor and cleaning.

Do I need to change my POS?

No. Keep your POS; the app only imports its export (CSV or Excel) for stock and alerts.
